Hotel Am Parkring

As this is not my first stay at the hotel, I keep coming back to it because of it's location, right at the edge of the Inner City. All the sights of the Inner City are in walking distance. Good connections to local public transit. If you are visiting Vienna as a tourist, this hotel is an excellent choice due to it's location, and it is priced reasonably.

The hotel is well located, within less than 10 minutes walk from the station where the City-Airport Train (CAT) arrives and very close to the city center. All the sites I wanted to visit were within walking distance. The staff was very kind (especially Mr Laurent at Reception who quickly detected I was French and switched to it). The rooms are at 11, 12 and 13th floors, so very quiet. I booked a room with a single bed, so was a bit worried it might be small, but I have to admit that the layout was done very smartly and the room did not feel small at all. Also enjoyed the terrace with a view on the city. In the afternoon, the hotel offers coffee, tea and cakes in a dedicated room on the 11th floor. And, as it was the week of Saint Nicolas, I had the nice surprise to find chocolate in my room to celebrate.

The hotel is at an excellent location. It looks and feels fresh and clean. The balcony with a view is super. Also, the cleaning staff was very accommodating to my working schedule.

Andreea, our host, was just perfect ! She was so nice and so welcoming ! We had a great and huge room on the 14th floor with a double balcony and a beautfiul view on the cathedral. The sunsets were absolutely amazing. We LOVED this hotel so much that we decided to come back for our last day in Vienna. Andreea offered to become a member and it gave us free breadkfast, free parking and a bottle of wine at our arrival with a plate of fruits. Our valets were so nice too ! One of them, a tall and lovely man, even brought us some chocolate in our car while we were leaving the hotel. We were delighted ! We totally recommend it !

I really liked this hotel a really very comfortable bed, a very comfortable room, everything is thought out and a lot of attention is paid to details, for example, a very beautiful wine glass, well, I drank water from it I also liked such a detail that there was always a vase with apples at the reception, which could be used to take a dispenser with water infused with apples or lemon or oranges another nice detail was that on the 11th floor from one to 5 you could drink coffee or tea for free, there was some kind of pie
